Housekeeping Job Description

Facility housekeepers contribute to The INN Between's mission by ensuring that our residents reside in a clean and sanitary environment. Housekeepers will ensure the building, equipment, rooms, and common areas are clean safe.


  • Report to Facilities Manager
  • Demonstrate compassion to all residents.
  • Maintain cleanliness, presentation and sanitary conditions of resident rooms and common areas.
  • Adhere to the cleaning agents’ usages, procedures, and instructions.
  • Notify senior staff in the event of any incident or emergency.
  • Learn and follow the State Department of Health Assisted Living Rules pertaining to housekeeping.


  • High School Diploma/GED
  • One year experience in an assisted living facility preferred.
  • Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with people.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite) preferred.
  • State Background Check will be performed.
  • TB Test and Health Evaluation will be required.


PT-Hourly, 25 hours Starting at $12.50
