Expanding Access To
Volunteers of The INN Between are valued as an essential component to delivering medical respite and end-of-life care for individuals experiencing homelessness. With the utmost of compassion, dignity, and respect, volunteers provide expanded access to safe medical housing, basic needs, and critical healthcare so that individuals are not left to suffer or die on the streets of our community. In FY21/22, The INN Between welcomed back from the days of COVID lockdowns, 165 volunteers who provided 6,501 hours of service. Being a volunteer at The INN Between means our residents are given equal opportunity to have a surrogate family while living here to recovery medically or living here at the end of life. Residents are given a chance to trust and rely on the kindness of others again. Our volunteers are truly incredible and we appreciate their ongoing commitment to the mission -- and to our residents now and in the future!
Thank you!
