This week, we had the privilege of caring for JoAnne, who joined us at The INN Between for the final three days of her life. At 78 years old, JoAnne was unable to speak when she came to us, but her presence spoke volumes.
Our team ensured she was surrounded by comfort and dignity, and thanks to our dedicated No One Dies Alone volunteers, JoAnne was not alone in her final hours. Their compassionate presence was a testament to the power of love and humanity in life’s most delicate moments.
Rest in peace, JoAnne. Though your time with us was brief, you were deeply cared for and will never be forgotten.
