🕊 In Loving Memory of Jamil 🕊
We are saddened to share the peaceful passing of Jamil, who spent just over a month with us at The INN Between. Though his time here was short, it was filled with love, dignity, and connection.
Born in Chicago, Jamil lived a hardworking and creative life. He spent 20 years in the oil fields, worked as a mechanic and painter, and had a passion for making jewelry. He dreamed of building a motorcycle and sidecar to ride with his son—a dream left unfinished, but not forgotten.
While Jamil deeply missed his wife, who passed away two years ago, we are grateful he was not alone at the end of his journey. His son was able to visit and share meaningful moments with him, including attending our recent candlelight memorial, where we honored Jamil and one other residents who had passed in the last week.
Jamil, thank you for the stories, the strength, and the quiet hopes you carried with you. You left this world surrounded by peace, care, and love. 🦋
