John Cal Robb

March 6, 1960 to January 21, 2022

John Cal Robb, age 62, passed away peacefully in his bed on January 21st, 2022. He was born on March 6th, 1960, to his parents, John “Jack,” and Dolores Robb. John arrived at The INN Between on June 25th, 2018, one of our first intakes in the new facility. He imprinted a long-lasting legacy. John radiated such a positive energy with his impactful spirit, caring demeanor, and trustworthy character. He expressed so much respect and generosity towards staff and other residents. He was hardworking and considered a “jack of all trades,” assisting around the facility with handyman work, transportation, being a house manager, and anything else he could help with. Furthermore, he was proud to lend his skills in helping manage the residence, and we are grateful for his commitment. John had lots of love for his dog, BooBoo, who adopted John after his previous owner at The INN Between passed away. He was glad BooBoo would be taken care of and stay within community. We were honored to welcome John, and we are enormously thankful for his dedication to making The INN Between feel like home. A shadow box in John's honor adorns the wall next to the room he occupied for just over a year.

Reiki principles John lived by:

“Just for today, I will not anger. Just for today, I will not worry. Just for today, I will work with honesty and integrity. Just for today, I will be kind to all living beings.”

Letter John wrote for the staff who cared for him in his final days:

My TIB Family,

If you are reading this, I have ridden off into the sunset with my fishing pole in hand. Thank you for helping me get to this point. I came in a broken man with no hope and left a stronger, more compassionate and happy man. I owe this all to you. You accepted me with open arms, gave me a purpose and helped me believe again. Thank you. Thank you for the laughs, the tears we have cried, the love for each other and being my family. I am grateful BooBoo is still a part of the TIB family. A special thank to Debbie and Monte for your vision to create The INN Between. I am forever thankful your vision allowed me to have a peaceful passing with the love and support from all of you. Please Know my love is endless for the TIB family. I am the lucky one to have you in my life. Until we meet again.

Yours truly,

John C Robb
