We honor the life of Michael, who passed peacefully at the age of 54. Michael was with us for almost three months, during which time we had the privilege of getting to know his story and spirit.
Michael was born and raised in Arizona. He lost his mom at the young age of nine, a loss that shaped much of his life. He was one of five siblings, three brothers and a sister, and a devoted father to his four sons.
Michael loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hiking. He was a big sports fan, a true child at heart, and had a deep love for everything about the ’80s. He often shared stories of a fun, adventurous childhood in Arizona, and his joy and personality left a lasting impression on those around him.
We are deeply grateful that Michael was surrounded by the love of his family, and for their presence and participation in his candlelighting ceremony. He was not alone, and his life was honored with dignity, connection, and care.
