We honor the life of Pavel, who was with us at The INN Between for about one month.
Pavel had siblings he loved deeply, though he had not spoken with them in some time as they remain in Mexico. While he did not have children of his own, his amigos and amigas were his family. Maria, his best friend here in Utah, held a special place in his heart.
Pavel once had a place of his own in Salt Lake City. After losing his housing, he experienced homelessness. He was a painter by trade and took on landscaping and other odd jobs to make ends meet. He also carried dreams — he once shared that he wanted to be a professional video gamer.
He loved music and played the guitar, holding close memories of making music with his family. He missed them deeply and cherished the time they once spent together. He enjoyed video games and found simple joy in visits from The INN Between’s beloved cat, Roger.
During his time with us, Pavel was surrounded by care, compassion, and dignity. Though separated from some of the people he loved, he was not alone.
Pavel, may you rest in peace.
